ABOUT FFE

The FFE philosophy is based on creating highly technical, creative & confident players.  All of the lead coaches hold a minimum UEFA B licence, with either coaching or playing experience in professional clubs.

Various programmes are designed to offer coaching equal to a professional club’s academy, but accessible to all through three ability levels in each age group; development, elite & academy. As a junior premier league club, they also offer players the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the east of England.

Catering for goalkeepers, outfield players and teams working on an ethos of individualised, bespoke player development focused on the individual. This is done by maintaining a high coach to player ratio, incorporating the use of video feedback and physical/technical testing to measure player’s performance. With a belief in learning to win & lose, instilling a positive attitude & freedom of expression from a young age the ethos is to believe players develop best when working against themselves at the edge of their comfort zones, combining a spectrum of physical & technical skills.

With the FFE U15 Academy Squad 2022/23 we won the JPL East Midlands League, remaining undefeated throughout the campaign.
